Brooke Evans and Jon McKean were married on a cool and rainy fall day in Washington DC. Despite the rain Brooke and Jon didn’t let the weather dampen their spirits. The ceremony was at Georgetown Presbyterian with the reception was at on the roof of Charlie Palmer Steaks. Thanks go to Jenna Isaacson for her help photographing the day.

Oh I was wondering what other photographers were out shooting rainy day weddings in our area on Saturday! Boy that was a chilly day. (The coldest 10/17 on record!) It looks like Brooke and Jon and their guests all had a wonderful day despite the weather, and you captured it all beautifully. LOVE the shot with the capitol in the background.

Margaret and Paul were married on cool Saturday afternoon in Leesburg, Virginia at Raseberry Plain after getting ready at the Landsdowne Resort nearby. It was fun to work with coordinators Liz Denny and Page Napier and with fellow shooter Nick Gingold. Holly Chapple provided the flowers.

Beautiful work, Paul! I was just at Raspberry Plain a few weeks ago, too - it's so pretty. I love that really classic portrait in the field with the white fence!

This looks like it was such a fun day! Hula hoops, football and musical talent? Such unique elements! Beautiful coverage, and I have to admit I'm a little jealous of the location!

I photographed Meena Lee and her fiance Jeong Bang on a spectacular day in Washington. While they were nervous at first about posing they had a great time.

Alexandra Gibbs and David Wittmann were married in Chatham, MA with their ceremony being held at Chatham Methodist and the reception at Ali’s parent’s home there. Olive Chase of the Casual Gormet kept things running smooth and Katie McConnell of Wild Bunch Studio created beautiful arrangements including Ali’s bouquet with a photo of her late father Jeff Gibbs whose presence was felt all day. Thanks go out to Ralph Alswang of Washington DC-Cape Cod for his help shooting.

    Paul,

You have outdone yourself. This is a breathtaking montage that we've watched 9 times.

I thought I had photo approval for my shots. Can we re-shoot when my daughter catches the bouquet? I wasn't looking at my key light. I can rent the tent again, and get the principles, but we'll have to shoot it in Jersey, not Cape Cod. Or green screen, either way.

    Kidding.

When my girls get married, at age 50, please make yourself available.

Jaye Gregory and Ben Locke’s was one of best I have covered. The love and emotions shared on their big day made for great images. The reception was a non-stop party right until the last song. Props to Nick Gingold for his help in shooting and to planner Jennifer Arezzo for her talents.
